SF09-108 17% Protein AIN93G Modification
A semi-pure diet formulation for laboratory rats and mice based on AIN-93G. This diet satisfies the growth nutritional requirements for rats and mice. Some modifications have been made to the original formulation to suit locally available raw materials.
- This diet is designed to be halfway in nutrient specifications of AIN93G and AIN93M, making it a suitable control diet for the high fat and very high fat lipid modified diets based on AIN93G.
- Protein concentration has been reduced from 20% to 17%.
- Canola oil has been reduced from 7% to 6%
- Methionine has been reduced from 0.3% to 0.24%.
- Starch content has been increased to make up the balance of the diet.
