Pony Cubes
A general purpose reduced protein and energy ration for ponies and horses in light to medium work.
This ration is carefully formulated to provide not only adequate levels of protein and energy, but also balanced levels of Calcium, Phosphorus and Magnesium to correct the deficiencies normally found in most roughages. To assist in the prevention of Vitamin and Trace Mineral deficiencies a comprehensive Vitamin and Mineral Supplement is added.

Formulated to be fed at between 2 and 5 Kg per day depending upon the size of the animal and the amount of work performed.
- The remainder of the diet must consist of good quality roughage in the form of hay, chaff or grazing. This roughage must make up at least 50% of the diet on a dry matter basis to ensure sufficient fibre intake.
- For example. A 300kg pony in medium work, feed 3kg diet with 6kg roughage. This should be split over two or more feeds.
