Diet: SF03-030 23% Fat with high Glycaemic Index
A semi-pure diet formulation for laboratory rats and mice based on AIN-93G. This formulation has been designed to maximize the risk of developing type II diabetes.
- Approximately 41% of total energy is from fats.
- The only carbohydrates present are cellulose, as a fibre source, and dextrose.
- Theoretically the glycaemic index of this diet should be close to100.
- Feed is manufactured as a 12 mm diameter cube, vacuum packed.
